Moule à gâteau

Want to have a nice breakfast at home with a cup of coffee but don't know how to make a complicated breakfast?

Don't worry.... How about a cup of coffee/tea/milk with pan cakes?

Sitting down on your balcony or yard, have a glass of warm milk with a hot pan cake. Reading your magazines and newspaper, enjoy the light winds.......

  1. Add eggs, self-raising flour, milk and little bit of salt in to a mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk it until it look smooth and creamy ( if it is too watery, add some flour/if it is to hard add milk)
  3.  Add some butter on heated (low heat) none-stick frying pan, turn the frying pan and let the melted butter spread equally on pan.
  4. Add a spoon of pan cake mix on the center of the pan ( it will give you the round shape)
  5. Wait for few minutes then turn over your pan cake and wait for few minutes again.
  6. Continue the step to make more pan cake.....
  7. Finally, add some butter on top of the pancake and add maple syrup.
* You can add yogurt, ice-cream, whiped cream, some fruits or use honey to replace maple syrup to create the flavour you like.

For me, I prefer original pan cake which is with maple syrup and butter.

Tarte Aux Fruits

This is very simple fruit tart that I made, for an opening of this blog.
Hope you all love it.

Tart Shell:
  • Plain Flour .......... 230 grams
  • Butter ................. 120 grams
  • Caster Sugar ....... 55 grams
  • Eggs ................... 2
  1.  Melt the butter inside microwave.
  2. Pour the melted butter into a bowl with sugar and use whisk to beat it until it look smooth.
  3. Add sifted flour into your mixing bowl, use butter knife or fork to mix until it become dough. ( If dough too soft, you can freeze it for around 10 minutes.
  4. Place the dough into non-stick muffin tins the press it to give the tart shape.
  5. Bake it  - 180 Degree Celsius /15 minutes
  6. Take out the tart shell from muffin tins and place on baking rack wait for few minutes until it cool down.
Custard Filling:

  • It is simple and easy, buy a pack of vanilla creme/custard instant desert powder , mix with milk. All you need is pour the milk little by little to get the thickness you want. Place the custard creme into a plastic bag and put inside the refrigerator around 1 hour.

    Step:
    1. Cut a small hole on the corner of your custard plastic bag and squeeze the custard creme into cool tart shell .
    2. Add whatever fruits and decorate it.
    3. Place inside the refrigerator for few hours then you can enjoy it.

    * Sorry for unclear picture, because I lost my camera and I only got a lame phone that can take photo.
